Duke President Vincent E. Price presided over an in-person ceremony for undergraduates in Wallace Wade Stadium Sunday, May 8, and General Motors CEO and Chair Mary Barra delivered the commencement address. To earn President's List honors, students must complete a minimum of 12 hours and have a grade point average of 3.750-4.000. Farouq Sellami of Plainfield (60585) Nicholas Woolley of Plainfield (60544) — Merit Page News Plainfield first-year makes dean's list at Abilene Christian University Ella Root, of Plainfield, was named to the Abilene Christian University Spring 2022 Dean's Honor Roll. Root is a freshman majoring in Theatre. Root was among more than 1,200 students named to the Spring 2022 Dean's Honor Roll. To qualify, students must be registered for 12 or more credit hours and earn a GPA of 3.6 or higher. — Merit Page News Plainfield natives make chancellor's honor roll at University of Mississippi The University of Mississippi announced students named to the Spring 2022 Honor Roll lists, including the Chancellor's Honor Roll, which is reserved for students who earn a semester GPA of 3.75-4.00. Alexis Obman, of Plainfield, IL, majoring in Forensic Chemistry, was named to the Spring 2022 Chancellor's Honor Roll. Audrey Howard, of Plainfield, IL, majoring in Communication Sciences/Disorders, was named to the Spring 2022 Chancellor's Honor Roll. Jessica Chan, of Plainfield, IL, majoring in Biological Science, was named to the Spring 2022 Chancellor's Honor Roll. The College held its Commencement ceremony on May 15, and 1997 graduate Kunal Kapoor, the CEO of Morningstar, Inc., gave the address to the Class of 2022.
