Here are the top five stories in Atlanta today: The Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA) is hosting a job fair next Thursday, Jun. 23, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. MARTA officials hope to fill multiple bus operator and journeyman bus technician positions and will be offering a $3,000 sign-on bonus to incentivize applicants. According to authorities, the victim was found in the 1100 block of Jones Avenue and appeared to be between the ages of 25 and 30 years old. Investigators believe the crime was targeted but, as of Friday evening, have not yet identified a motive for the killing. (FOX 5 Atlanta)Registered nurses and software developers topped the list of most in-demand jobs in the Atlanta metro. New research from Monster.com tracked local jobs with the highest projected growth rate. The top five positions, ranging from 10 to 27 percent projected growth, were as follows: customer service representative, insurance agent, registered nurse, software developer, and tractor-trailer truck driver.
