Seeking board members for Fair Trade Minneapolis, a nonprofit organization. Fair Trade (coffee, chocolate, bananas, sugar, artisan goods, etc.) pays farmers and artisans fairly, and protects the environment with the Fair Trade Standards. Fair Trade Minneapolis encourages people to choose Fair Trade products. We started as a Fair Trade Town on May 6, 2020, incorporated on April 21, 2021, and are now a 501c3 tax-exempt nonprofit organization. ______________ Our Board of Directors is currently seeking additional board members who value Fair Trade to join our fun and mission-driven team. Please note: This is an uncompensated volunteer position. The Quick FAQs • Board meetings via Zoom: Two to four per year, on Mondays via Zoom from 7:30 to 9:00 pm • For example, Oct 17, 2022, March 27, 2023, … Our regular meetings are on the 2nd Monday of the month via Zoom from 7:30 to 9:00 pm. Board members should come to some regular meetings. We're still tiny and new, so there are a lot of decisions to be made.
