All Star Labor & Staffing is hiring for multiple openings in a corn production company in the Silverton, OR area. Corn Inspector: The inspector MUST be able to perform visual inspection and careful handling of raw product, must have excellent eye/hand coordination for sorting, OK with hot temperatures and wearing all provided PPE such as gowns, hard hats, hair/facial hair nets, booties, and gloves. This position requires great communication skills, MUST be detail oriented and organized. Production Mixer: The main duties of this position include being able to batch raw products and constantly feed dryer according to quality/order specifications. This position also requires good manufacturing practices, follow product safety procedures, and maintain awareness of all GMP safety procedures. MUST be OK with lifting, bending, and twisting up to 50lbs. Production Packager: The production packager mills, sieves, and packages all finished product in accordance with client orders. Duties also include performing equipment set up, inspection of all packaged product to meet quality requirements, and replenishes raw product from warehouse. This position requires great communication skills, MUST be detail oriented and organized. Senior Production Operator: The senior operator ensures all safety procedures and GMP’s are being followed. Sets up and tears down machinery as needed in the production area, report and record any product loss, monitor and supervise all production areas as well as conducting quality inspections and monitors all equipment to make sure it is running correctly. This position requires great communication skills, MUST be detail oriented and organized. Production Dryer Operator: Follow all plant GMP. Request that personnel in their area follow established rules. Stop Dryer line. Identify and report non-conforming raw material, WIP or finished product. Ensure Dryers are running to its full potential. Adjust the dryers. Doctor blades storage and inventory. Remove any worn or damaged doctor blades from inventory. PAY AND SCHEDULE FOR POSITIONS: Full-time, 12 hours shift, 3-4 days a week, occasionally we will need to work a fourth day. Day shift is 7:30am-8:00pm Night shift is 7:30pm-08:00am Pay starting at $15.00 to $16.20 an hour.
