Indie rock darlings Tigerbite are suddenly in the market for new drum representation. We have gigs upcoming late summer booked, a new EP about to be released, and a slew of new songs ready to pop. Now's a good time to join up. We are a four-piece ensemble. Catchy guitars, big outros, chorus-heavy, with a self-described "fuzzpop" style. Alternately ragged and sweet, we like to think that the songs are what makes the band rather than the other way around. Have been described as a mashup of Built to Spill, Interpol, Cheatahs, DIIV, Shins, MBV, Modest Mouse, Cure (without the makeup), and other similar indie all-stars. I think you get the drift. Looking for someone who is agile and creative in styles, quick to pick up new material, comfortable with autonomy (you likely won't be told what to play), and collaborative. We practice regularly and gig around town, generally headlining. We are also adults, so if you're looking to find your shot at the big time while yakking outside the tour van, you can sound the part with us but probably won't be touring Asia this time next year. Just a little transparency there. Please be a pro, have real equipment, humility, and a sense of humor. Weed habits fine, meth not so fine, etc. You're joining a very good band with very good songs that is growing a following, so be positive and forward-looking. All that said, reach out and talk.
