The Groundskeeper-General Maintenance Worker performs semi-skilled work in the maintenance, care, and modification of Drake’s: The Barn grounds and restaurants/bars. The Groundskeeper/General Maintenance Worker will maintain the appearance of our grounds and restaurants/bars by keeping grounds free from trash and debris. We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, energetic and who is team player. Reports to: GM and AGM Location: Drake’s at The Barn, West Sacramento Type: Part-time, Non-Exempt Pay: $19-$21/hour DOE Responsibilities: • Perform maintenance work such as, but is not limited to: touch up painting, minor carpentry; basic equipment installation, light plumbing, and minor electrical repairs • Keeps all walking paths in and out of the space, and throughout the restaurants, clear of litter/debris/obstructions/pallets • Visually inspect buildings/facilities and identify maintenance items • Daily check on facilities to wipe off or remove graffiti on walls/restaurant tables, applying protective wax/coating on outdoor tables • Works with Gm and AGM on completing monthly tasks • Maintain the overall appearance of the property, from maintaining supplies for the restrooms, maintaining adequate supplies for repairs, to performing preventative maintenance. Requirements: • Operating and maintaining hand tools, power tools and other equipment. • Basic plumbing, electrical and carpentry knowledge • 1+ year general maintenance, or related, experience • Ability to follow instructions • Access to reliable mode of transportation To apply, please e-mail your resume and indicate your availability.
