Evans Construction Company is a General Contractor looking to hire multiple positions for a growing team and business. The company has been around for 40+ years and specializes in building concrete homes. The system used is called ICF or insulated concrete forms. With a superior fire-rating, sound protection, and energy efficiency these homes are becoming more in demand which is why we need to grow our team! We're looking for various skill levels for our operation. Positions Needed • General Laborer • Insulated Concrete Form Installer (We'll provide the system training, you bring the construction experience.) Job Description You’ll be doing everything and anything from digging out and setting forms for concrete slabs and walls. Cutting and laying rebar, loading and unloading trailers, setting up and taking down steel bracing, pouring concrete, and installing ICF block. The right person will be a strong worker, with a great attitude who is hungry to learn. We work hard and safe and want to add good people! Requirements • Must be able to pass a background check • Must have at least 3 years’ experience doing construction, concrete work, demolition, framing, carpentry, electrical, or construction related trade. • Must be able to lift 75lbs • Must have a very strong work ethic • Must have reliable transportation Compensation • $20/hr - $30/hr depending on experience • 401k contribution available after 90 days Job Locations Most jobs are in the greater Sacramento area up to Placerville.
