guitar player searching for band

hi yall, im a guitar player from malden looking to join a band. my goal is not to tour but to play gigs for fun every now and then. i am a working 28 year old guy who has been playing for about 2 years. i have a group of guys that i play with now but we have not been able to find a creative common ground. as such, i have a small amount of playing covers of basic rock songs and playing with a drummer, but very little band experience. i have never recorded a song. i have never played in front of people. i don't have a well developed ear or a creative process. i have a moderate understanding of music theory; i can play in a few keys and am willing to learn more. i have pretty good knowledge of the fretboard. i am willing to learn material or contribute new material. i am a passable singer, and would do backup vocals as well as play guitar. a few bands that make me feel good or i aspire to: swirlies, unwound, orange juice, bedhead, the cure indie rock music from the early 80s to the early 2000s is probably a good way to sum it up. live in malden, work in cambridge. have a car (that i share with my wife) and gear, but no practice space local. thanks for reading, take care.
