Can an animal lover help us get a dog out of the pound? Hello, we had a rescued white female pitbull about 3 or 4 years ago when we lived in Chaparral NM. She jumped over the fence one day and was gone. We spent days looking for her but never found her. Yesterday, animal control in Las Cruces contacted us from her chip, that she had been picked up and is being held there. (they are calling her a white bulldog). The problem-- we are no longer in Chaparral. Obviously she had found another family for the past 4 years and they are missing her. Please spread the word in Chaparral that "Princess" is in animal control Mesilla Valley (the one on hwy 70) in Las Cruces. here is their number: ASCMV at , address is 3551 Bataan Mem W, Las Cruces, NM 88012 (hwy 70 going up towards Organ NM.
