In search of long-haired kitten

Description

We have been searching for a kitten for a while, preferably long-haired. We lost one of ours late last year at the age of 14 from sudden kidney failure, and our remaining cat is currently 17 (though she looks and acts a decade younger), so we are kind of dreading the thought of not having any cats left in the house. We have both had cats all our lives, and my husband, in particular, is a veritable cat-whisperer, so any cats we have end up insanely spoiled and well cared-for. The reason I am searching for a kitten is that our remaining cat is not crazy about other felines. She got along OK with our other one, maybe because he was already here when we adopted her 7 years ago (and she does seem to miss him), but I just think she would be more likely to accept a kitten, especially since her records indicate that she did have at least one litter in the past. We also have a small, older Papillion (14) who pretty much sleeps most of the time, and no children in the house except for grandchildren (4 & 7 months) here and there. Here are a couple of photos of past & present cats we've had. The first is our 17 year old diva, second, a photo of her with the cat we recently lost, and last, a photo of him from a number of years ago, with another cat we used to have, that was 16 years old at the time the photo was taken and beginning to go downhill a bit. Just so you can see the type of cat we gravitate to - I will admit to a bit of a weakness for cats with a touch of glamour.
