Square One Solutions is currently hiring for technicians to join the team at a fluid analysis lab based in Sparks. At this facility employees are responsible for processing and testing fuel samples from construction tractors and recording data. If you are a motivated person who is looking for something long term or a career, this is for you! No previous experience is necessary, we can train you! All candidates must be able to follow direction and safely and efficiently perform tasks that may include the following: -Maintain a clean and safe working environment -Maintain punctuality/attendance and accuracy/productivity requirements -Receive and sort lubricant and fuel samples. Register and log samples into database -Weight and pour samples in autosamplers -Accurately record data and complete documentation in a timely and accurate manner -Attend and apply company sponsored technical training classes to enhance skills If you have previous experience, we want to meet you! Otherwise keep in mind that we are seeking individuals with a good attitude who have proficient basic computer technology skills and can communicate efficiently (verbal and written). Attention to detail is vastly important as well as maintaining a good working relationship with all co-workers, customers, and the public. Strong analytical skills are a plus! The ideal candidate must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time as well as sit for lengthy periods of time if needed. Frequent lifting will of 2-5 lbs with very occasional lifting of up to 35 lbs. Must use hands for repetitive sample grasping, pushing, pulling and fine manipulation. Day Shift 7:00am-4:00pm Monday-Friday (Saturday for overtime when necessary- required) $17/hr+ DOE This is a full-time position, reliable and hardworking employees may be offered permanent employment upon completion of 720 working hours, at which time full health benefits are offered, including vision and dental insurance as well as 401k match and professional development opportunities.
