I'm offering guitar/bass setups for reasonable rates. I've noticed a lot of the music shops around here either don't do it, have a long waitlist, or are outrageously expensive, so I'm offering an alternative. I'm not a luthier, so I don't do body work or wood repair, but I can work around warped/corkscrewed necks. No, I don't and have never worked at Guitar Center, just local shops. Anyway, here's how my rates go: Fretboard and body cleaning + re-stringing (you provide strings) + Intonation = $20 Above + Truss Rod Adjustment = $40 Above + Electronics work = $80 Guitar Tech Standby at a Gig = My name on the list, gas expenses, drinks at the bar. In a nutshell, I'm asking $20/hr for whatever work I do on your instrument. Feel free to text me, but please don't call!
