The Slo Apartments are currently seeking to hire a Dynamic- Full-Time Maintenance Technician for a 400+ student housing apartment community in San Luis Obispo. We are a privately owned management company specializing in a first-class property management company! We are looking for motivated, relationship-driven, hardworking individuals to join our team in a growing property management company! Summary: The Maintenance Technician will perform repairs, unit- turns, and preventive maintenance at the property. Ensure good resident relations; maintain and enhance the value of the community, and contribute to the economic success of the property. Responsibilities: Performance of all maintenance and repairs of the property Complete all service requests efficiently and courteously Inspect property including roofs and common area regularly Ensure the job assignments and service requests are carried out promptly, and efficiently, following the established procedures. Maintain the maintenance shop and storage areas in a clean, orderly, safe, and secure fashion. Ensure all vacant units are made 100% ready Update property software (Appfolio) details of work completed with pictures. Purchase supplies as needed within the budget per the established policies and procedures. Requirements: A minimum of 1-year experience in multifamily maintenance or construction as a technician- preferred Full-Time Position Weekends are required HVAC certified -preferred Plumbing Certifications - preferred Must be available for 24 -hour on-call service as assigned Must possess a set of essential hand tools to use in the performance of duties Must have a current and valid Driver's License and proof of insurance. Must have a good history of dependability and job performance Required Education: High School Diploma or GED What's In It for You Pay is competitive, based on experience.
