Be willing to ask questions if unsure of task required. • Detail oriented and disciplined follow up • Be patient with and have good listening skills • Must be physically able to move and flip rugs for client review. General Duties: 1) Assist sales staff with rug presentations at client locations (both retail and professional) flipping and pulling rugs from stacks for customers. Greet customers when sales staff are occupied. Assist customers with loading and unloading rugs. 2) Manage shipping & receiving including UPS, FedEx, DHL, or other LTL carriers along with providing sales team shipping quotes. Occasional Local deliveries with company vehicle. 3) Keep showrooms presentable at all times. Rug stacks should be put down after flipping as soon as possible. Put away stray rugs if not being used by sales staff and put the rug stacks back to flat position. Straighten up rug stacks and rugs hanging on rack. Fill racks that have empty spots with rugs from stacks. 4) Basic facilities maintenance including cleaning showrooms, rug stacks, bathrooms, and kitchen area. 5) Maintain inventory and inventory control for the showroom. 6) Work with team on following up on outstanding consignment of rugs with clients to ensure they are returned and checked into our inventory. 7) Able to work a computer, send emails, basic excel spreadsheet work.
