Apply Today-🔧Roving Maintenance Tech HVAC or EPA Certified🔧 Job: Helping established maintenance teams with maintenance projects and or general apartment maintenance such as make-readies and work orders. Must be willing to travel up to 1 hour away. Mileage reimbursement for travel Most locations will be in Columbia, SC What we are looking for: Assisting maintenance teams with some larger scale projects Complete work orders in a timely manner based on priority Make Ready / Turning apartments in between resident occupancy Painting/Staining both interior and exterior applications Maintaining property grounds Preventative maintenance Assist in coverage of a 24/7 emergency cell phone with other team members What we are offering: Up to $70,000 a year salary depending on experience. Discount programs at partnered companies such as Verizon, Expedia, Office Depot and more RESPONSIBILITIES (but not limited to): Paint and stain, both interior and exterior application Drywall and carpentry Turns units (“make readys”) in between tenant occupancy Electrical including outlets, switches and light fixtures Water heaters, both electric and gas Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair appliances Maintain grounds and general landscaping projects Cleans and makes minor repairs to gutter & downspouts Assists in exterior building maintenance as needed such as siding, soffit and window repairs Coordinate purchasing or organizing bulk items and equipment as needed Assist with contractor relationships, including facilitation of project bids and selection determination as well as assisting with any logistics associated with these projects Regularly inspect the areas of a property they work at within their scope of job duties and report inspection results to their direct supervisor Assists in preventative maintenance as assigned Assists with snow removal (when applicable) Assists in pool maintenance (where applicable)
