I've been every year, since then, with the exception of the rona closure.. I went to opening night, this week, Romeo and Juliet. In truth, I don't actually think I'm a fan. I file Shakespeare under the same category as the Red Hot Chili Peppers. One or two hits, followed by a collection of self-plagiarizing misfires. But, I still enjoy the scenery and the setting of the event.
I left after the first half, due to poor planning, didn't have hooch or proper snacks...I might go back Sunday and catch the second half. Fan or no, it's something to do, outside.
PLEASE- no random replies. If you did not go to Shakespeare in the park with some dude ten years ago, this post is not for you. I keep getting replies from folks that have nothing to do with this, (dudes), and I decline their interests, then FLAGGED... Seems like that might be connected...
