All-female a cappella singing video auditions - due June 26

We're the Austonettes, Austin's premiere all-female a cappella group, and we're auditioning new members! Auditions are open to all female voice parts and vocal percussionists. Are you a singer who also does VP? Great! Just a singer? Awesome! Only comfortable doing VP? No problem! Are you female-identifying? Yay! We're open to hearing all a cappella talents to find the best fit. For this upcoming season, we have a preference for ladies comfortable singing Soprano 1 or Alto 2, skills/interest in vocal percussion, and a controlled, dynamic solo presence. The first round of auditions is an online survey and video submission. We can't wait to get to know you and your voice! -- A bit about us: We're a group of extraordinary ladies in our 20s and 30s who love to sing and perform but have jobs and outside hobbies, too. In other words, we practice hard but aren't looking to be the next Pentatonix! Our weekly rehearsals culminate in bi-annual showcases for our friends and family, and we also gig occasionally around the Austin community. Our songs are a mix of internal arrangements and outside arrangements used with permission. Some of us have been in other groups previously, but a couple of us were brand-new to a cappella before joining the Austonettes.
