The cards would hypothetically subsidize the price of gas for Americans " SUBSIDIZE is the word of the day. Your federal government wants to SUBSIDIZE your gas pain. Using Taxpayer Dollars, claiming they're trying to "Help" us. Here's the deal: Your federal government already charged up YOUR credit card (National Debt) by more than $7 TRILLION in the last 2 years. That 4& Trillion of additional Debt is the reason for the INFLATION we are experiencing right now. Inflation is the PENALTY for too much DEBT. The shitty thing is, out of that $7 Trillion, they have actually spent less than half of it, so basically the federal government is sitting on Trillions of $$$ and making you pay for it anyway, even though it's not being used. The thing with the 'gas rebates' is this: Just like ALL government programs, such as welfare, low-income housing, 'stimulus' checks, and other things, all of it is paid for by the U. S. Taxpayers. Government doesn't make money, they only spend money. YOUR money. The less the government spends, the more free the American People can be The more the government spends, the less freedoms we have. Putting us further and further into DEBT, only increases the chance of a corrupt government turning us to Socialism as "The Answer". Seriously, Socialist / Communist style government always assume that they can run your business and your life better than you can. That's the basis behind the philosophy of Marxism. Too many people don't understand the danger the Democrat party is putting us into.
