As a Machine Operator, you are responsible for operating various machines while adhering to safety requirements, quality parameters and in-process checks. You will: • Follow detailed parts instructions and ensure that processing requirements in those documents are completed • Record process data as required by standard operating procedures • Troubleshoot minor problems with the equipment • Inspect parts both visually and dimensionally, use proper measuring equipment • Interpret visual specifications to recognize and classify defective material • Perform testing and inspection of materials and/or parts throughout the processing sequence Requirements: • Must be flexible to Work both 2nd & 3rd shift • 2nd shift hours 2:00pm - 10:30pm plus shift differential $1.50 more hourly • 3rd shift hours 10:00pm - 6:30am plus shift differential $1.00 more hourly • High School Diploma /GED • 1-2 Year’s experience working with manufacturing machines and equipment • Ability to use measuring devices, such as micrometers and gauges • Mechanical interest and aptitude The selection of the person to be hired for this position is contingent on the candidate having export compliance eligibility for access to U.S. controlled technology which comes under the licensing jurisdiction of the U.S. Department of State, International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the U.S. Department of Commerce, Export Administration Regulations (EAR). The candidate selected will have to qualify as either a U.S. citizen, a U.S. National, a lawful permanent resident of the U.S., a Person Admitted into the U.S. as an Asylee or Refugee., a National of a country that is not prohibited from having access to U.S. controlled technology (via a letter of assurance), or a Person to be approved for an export license by the governing agency whose technology comes under its jurisdiction.
