Mosaic Training: "Can you really be Colorblind?"Presented by: Lindsay Bernhagen, Learning Strategist, TorchJULY 15th via zoom @ 12-1pmMany of us were raised to treat all people equally, regardless of their race, gender, ability, or background, and so, when we think of our goals for equity, we often want to be “colorblind.” However, aiming to ignore or mute difference—rather than honoring it as a strength and an asset—does a disservice to ourselves and to people we are genuinely trying to include. In this session, we’ll talk about why diversity matters, the impossibility of colorblindness, and how to honor and recognize difference in affirming ways.**You will receive a zoom link via email the week of the event.
