Join us for singer songwriter September! All-ages. Free. I am September. I have been singing since I was 7 years old and learned my first guitar chord, G, from my older sister. And about 2 or 3 months later my dad taught me how to properly finger pick "The Boxer" by Simon & Garfunkel because I was doing it wrong as a beginner guitarist. I am a singer songwriter with an acoustic guitar and play original songs as well as those of Queen, Journey, Scorpions, The Beatles, Simon & Garfunkel, James Taylor, Cat Stevens, Bob Seger, John Denver, Don McLean and other songs by other artists of the '60s and '70s era. I was an art student in college. I have an office job during the day and enjoy playing and teaching music as my other job. Recently, I was hired by a Seattle based company specializing in music therapy and I am one of its singer-instructors.
