A workshop geared towards parents and educators that wish to learn more about dyslexia, a language-literacy based learning difference. Up to 20% of students struggle with the challenges of learning to read, write and spell. Unfortunately many misconceptions exist regarding this “hidden” disability. This workshop will give you evidence-based information about dyslexia, dispel some of those myths that you’ve heard, and participants will also complete a dyslexia simulation activity.
