Father’s Day weekend-June 18th, 2022, Boston Kizomba Obsession is welcoming KIKI Elsilecio Back to Boston with a 2Hour Semba intensive Followed by a Kizomba Social (Music by DJ Ceijay). The HERO TO ME event is one to Celebrate Fathers that have passed and the ones living.. He grew up dancing Afrobeats, zouk, soukous, coupé décalé as well as different traditional dances from Togo (West Africa). His love of music and dance has always pushed him to grow and expand his cultural knowledge. He discovered Kizomba in 2013 and immediately fell in love with it. Since then he has been learning about its culture, music and dance non stop up to now. To distance himself from others in order to be able to teach the culture and dance of Kizomba/semba he took many workshops, privates and teacher's trainings with top notch national and international instructors. He finally started teaching Kizomba/Semba and Afrobeats in 2016 and traveled to share his knowledge in different cities and states across US and Canada such as: Philly; NJ; NY; Boston; DC; Cleveland OH; Charlotte NC; Portland OR; Seattle, Los Angeles, Atlanta, Phoenix, Victoria CA, Porto Rico to mention few.
