Loving Hearts Healing Hands is so excited to offer you this Inner Child Play Date. This event is a fundraiser to help with our mission which is to help alleviate food deserts in Hampton Roads. Your “Inner Child” is the child like aspect of you. Your Inner Child holds emotions, memories and beliefs from the past as well as hopes, desires and dreams for the future. It’s a younger you at some particular age. Could be age 7 or 8 could be age 5. You'll have an opportunity to connect and determine the age of your Inner Child during this Play Date. Many of us grew up without that fun childhood so our Inner Child didn't have a chance to experience the fun games that come with being a child. Maybe you were one of the older siblings so you were the babysitter and you had to help raise our younger siblings. You may have had such a unhealthy childhood that you missed out on all of the fun that awaited us as a little girl because you grew up in survival mode. Whatever the reason, this is a great opportunity to come out and connect with a community that loves sharing Inner Child Healing work. The panel of experts that will be preseting will share information to inspire the healing process of your Inner Child. You'll have the opportunity to remember how fun it is to jump double dutch, play jacks, play hop scotch, piddle paddle, yo-yo and more. We will play some of the games that you may not have had the opportunity to play very much as child. The Agenda for the Day will include: Breakfast and Lunch are included. 6 Workshops - Here are the Topics: Forgiveness, Healing Addictive Behaviors, Eating to Live, Movement, Dance, Community & Relationship Morning Attire: Wear Your Best Inner Child Pajamas, Favorite Slippers and Favorite Hair Style (example: Pony tail with hair bows) Have fun with it...don't be shy. Afternoon Attire: Bring Your best work out gear (leggings, sports bra, tank top, socks and sneakers) to change into after lunch There will be two contests: Contest: Best Pajamas - Prizes that you'll love Contest: Best Work Out Outfit - Prizes that you'll love Join Us for this fun-filled day!
