On June 11th, someone forced entry into Colorado BJJ Satori, poured accelerant on the mats and adjacent championship medal display wall, and lit a fire. The fire caused significant damage to our beloved gym. While we have insurance for this tragedy, it will be a lengthy arson investigation that will cause delays. We're hoping to start cleaning up, smoke remediation, then repair and replace all of the equipment as soon as possible. Colorado's incredible Jiu-Jitsu community has already come together, offering us places to train and donations. We now want to give back to the community while continuing to raise money for the reconstruction. June 10th will be a celebration of Jiu-Jitsu and community, as the Black Belt Professors from the gym will each be teaching some of their favorite techniques in a special Black Belt seminar. The lineup includes IBJJF World Champions, Fight 2 Win Pro alumni, and some special guests to be announced shortly. We hope to see you at the fantastic Nova Mente Acadamy on July 10th at 10am! All proceeds go to the rebuild of CBJJ Satori.
