Midpen Media will have a keyboard available onstage, and can mic extra instruments as needed. Sign up to perform using this Google Form. What is the Media Lab? The Media Lab is a publicly accessible media production co-lab that will adapt to unique and varied needs of each individual media maker. Whether you're recording a podcast, designing a webcomic, editing a TikTok, or writing a short film -- our Media Lab is here as a creative resource to you. The Media Lab is located on the second floor of the Midpen Media Center. The space features public-use computers equipped with professional media editing programs such as Adobe Creative Cloud, two private recording studios, comfortable space for media-making collaboration, and access to high-quality media production tools including microphones, cameras, iPads, and LED lights. Best of all: there is no membership required to use the Media Lab! Why did we create the Media Lab? Midpen Media has been providing media-making access to the artists and activists of our community for more than thirty years. Embracing the evolution of technology is embedded in the history of our organization. The Media Lab is simply an expansion of our mission to empower and provide accessible resources to our local media-makers. This family friendly event will have both indoor and outdoor activities.
