Description
We purchased two newborn baby betta fish last September that were both listed as female, but one turned out to be male. I have a 10 gallon tank with an acrylic separator so that they don't mate. They are both awfully cute and I've become very fond of them, but with the recent addition of two rescue rats, I am finding it tough to maintain/clean their tank the way I would like to/the way they deserve because of time limitations.
The female is particularly friendly (and food motivated) and comes over to her humans whenever we are near her tank. The big guy spends his days making bubble nests or getting excited when the female swims by. He is a red veiltail and I believe the female is a veiltail? I have never had any health issues with either of them and they have been well cared for. I do not want them to be neglected.
If interested, please let me know why you are looking to adopt betta fish and if you've had experience with them before.
*Rehoming fee of $50 -- includes both fish, 10 gallon Aqueon tank, divider, decorations, travel tanks, Aqueon heater, filter and filter cartridges, gravel cleaner, food, net and large bottle of water conditioner. (I have spent hundreds on all of this fish equipment). *If interested in only 1 fish -- $5 includes fish, food, travel tank, small water conditioner bottle, and a few decorations.
