This field trip is for Heartland Charter School students and their families. Ever wondered where waves come from, what causes the tides or what sea life is prevalent in the Pismo and Grover Beach area? Take a walk and learn about the magical coastal ecosystem from Grover Beach up to Pismo Beach. HST Michael Phares, is a lifelong rider of waves and closet meteorologist who will share his knowledge of the coast as we walk along the beach... rain or shine!Come get some exercise, meet friends, and learn something new.We encourage families to turn in a sample that is linked to the field trip that you attended during your next learning period. It helps to ensure that we can continue to provide these trips and their educational value. Heartland field trips are designed for families to attend together. Students need to be accompanied by an adult chaperone. If your student will be attending with another family, please indicate this when you register your student and let the field trip host know once you complete your registration. **To ensure the health and safety of all attendees, please do not attend a field trip if you, your student(s), or anyone in your household is ill or showing possible signs of illness.**Does this trip have any height, weight, and/or age restrictions? Free parking in any of the lots next to and near Fin's Restaurant Can we pack snacks or lunch for this event or field trip?
