Our very own race announcer, Ali Feller, host of the chart-topping podcast the Ali on the Run Show, will be hosting a LIVE show during the race Expo at Silverado Resort & Spa. You do not have to be registered for the race to attend, and entry is free! Plus, attendees will be treated to a splash of champagne and small bites during the live event! We are absolutely thrilled to bring one of running’s most popular podcasts to life with host Ali Feller and two absolutely fantastic guests, Alysia Montaño and Deena Kastor. A little bit about our guests: Alysia Montaño is an Olympic medalist, a six-time USA Outdoor Track champion and mother of three. As an author, analyst, spokesperson, and entrepreneur she has channeled her gift for inspiring others to demand for and make change, especially for women and mothers. Deena Kastor is an Olympic medalist and previous American Record holder in the marathon, cook, author, wife, and mother. Since beginning her professional career in 1997, Deena has held American Records in every distance from the 5K to the marathon. After practice she can be found walking her two mastiffs around their neighborhood or cooking for family and friends at home. Join us as Ali chats with these two incredible women about their running careers, motherhood, activism in and outside the sport, and everything in between! This live event takes place at 3pm on Friday, July 15th during the WineShine Half Marathon Expo at the Silverado Resort in Napa, CA.
