The Arc of the Lowcountry & Firefly Distillery presents the 1st annual "Getting Saucy" BBQ Sauce Competition on Saturday, September 24, 2022, from 11am - 6pm. The event will include live music, activities for the whole family, a cornhole tournament, & a BBQ Sauce Competition. Small business barbeque sauce entrepreneurs will compete and be judged in five categories: mild red, hot red, mustard, vinegar, and specialty. Winners in each category are awarded, with one winner declared the South Carolina BBQ Sauce Grand Champion. Sauce Entry Fees: 1 Sauce $50, 2 Sauces $75, & 3 or more Sauces $100 (tax & fees not included in price) Please note: You may enter more than one category but only one sauce per category. Duplicate sauce entries will be disqualified.
