As the sun begins to set 100 of us will gather from all walks of life to celebrate the role of food in our society and culture. Beginning with cocktails paired with a local artisan showcase you'll find yourself around a unique group of momentary friends of fate. Smile and rejoice as we discuss the importance of seafood in our food system in a quest to understand a conscious, sustainable, and community-oriented way of modern eating. Following this we'll all sit around a very large table to begin a 5-course meal featuring locally grown vegetables (plucked not 5 feet from the tables) and freshly harvested seafood. After dinner we'll come together one last time for final drinks and a local band. Move your dancing feet and get a chance to talk to the farmer, fisherman, and others as we say our final goodbyes.
