Letter of Thanks.... To the Medfield Community,
It is with heartfelt thanks that I write to express my deep appreciation to those who assisted with the Covid Vaccine Clinics in Medfield Public Schools. In total, we were able to hold 8 clinics due to the dedication of so many people.
I'd like to thank the school nurses, who in addition to managing all the covid cases, gave of their time after school: Brittany Hardiman, Elizabeth Bennett, Arlene O'Donovan Driscoll, Kate Gustafson, Elizabeth Sandeman, Nancy Schiemer, Ashley Tracey, Danielle Sullivan and Lois Cardell as well as our school physician Laura McCullough and Medfield's Public Health Nurse Brenda Healy.
Many community members also stepped up to staff the clinics including: Melissa Coughlin, Mary Mintz, Katie Lipsky, Colleen Corrodi, Sarah Byrnes, Mike Ferrick, Newton Thompson, Philip Thompson, Dolores Connors, Amanda Carnes, Colleen Deignan, Robin Swirbalus, Ellyn Mullock, Ally Bennett and Molly and Charlie Hardiman. We also could not have run the clinics without our partnership with Andy Stein of Birdhill Pharmacy and the Fallon Ambulance Company.
I am especially proud that the vaccine rates in all eligible age groups for Medfield students are greater than 95% (highest category) due in large part to your efforts. You made a significant difference in keeping our schools open and students healthy and in school.
