Description
BOSTON — Green Line passengers had to be escorted off trains and out of the tunnel in Boston Tuesday night after MBTA officials said two trains "unintentionally coupled" near the platform.
Green Line service was suspended between Government Center and Park Street stations around 10 p.m.
Passengers had to wait about 30 minutes before they were taken off the trains. Video on Twitter shows people walking through the dimly lit tunnels.
Service resumed about an hour after the incident.
No injuries were reported and as of Wednesday morning, no further details have been released.
Patch reached out to the MBTA and will update as soon as we learn more.
No additional information was immediately available.
