Shreve Memorial Library Invites Readers Of All Ages To Discover 'Oceans Of Possibilities'

Press release from Shreve Memorial Library: June 14, 2022 Shreve Memorial Library invites readers of all ages to discover "Oceans of Possibilities" during its 2022 Summer Reading Program. The Summer Reading Program offers fun programs for everyone. Throughout the summer, adults are encouraged to enjoy a variety of interactive art programs inspired by the "Oceans of Possibilities" theme. Art programs such as "Linda Moss Art: Octopus's Garden," "Art with Marci Hicks," and "Sea Shell Paper Collage," will take place at Shreve Memorial Library branches throughout Caddo Parish. The programs and art supplies for the programs are free, and adults are encouraged to attend. Local artists Linda Moss and Marci Hicks will lead a series of ocean-themed workshops in June and July. Linda Moss will facilitate "Linda Moss Art: Octopus's Garden" at the branches listed below. The painting workshop teaches adults how to paint an octopus's garden.
