Description

FREDERICKSBURG, VA — Krumpet is a retired street cat who is now available for adoption through the Fredericksburg SPCA. Despite his rough and tumble past, he's a laid-back and low maintenance cat who is looking for a home of his own. "He's looking for the good life as a low-maintenance lap cat relaxing on your lap and getting pets all day," the Fredericksburg SPCA said. "He's always first to greet you at the door and is ready to chat about the day you've had." Krumpet is affectionate and loves attention from his people. He loves to curl up on a couch and listen to his people. "Whatever gripes you have, Krumpet will lend his non-crumpled listening ear," the Fredericksburg SPCA said. "He loves a good play session with a feather wand or a kick toy." Photo courtesy of the Fredericksburg SPCA. Krumpet is FIV+, but that won't stop him from living a long and healthy life indoors. FIV only spreads through deep bite wounds, so Krumpet will be able to live with other cats as long as there's a stable social structure, the SPCA said. The Fredericksburg SPCA hosts walk-in adoption hours on Wednesdays and Fridays. More information about Krumpet and other adoptable cats and dogs is available on the SPCA's website.
