HOBOKEN, NJ — Hoboken will ultimately have three farmers' markets running each week, but a new market at the Southwest Resiliency Park has been postponed a week, the city said in an alert on Thursday. The Downtown Farmers' Market, scheduled to start today at the new park on Observer Highway, between Jackson Street and Harrison Street, will instead open on Thursday, June 23, and run from 2 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., the city said. When Patch reached out for an explanation of the postponement, a city spokesperson said, "Unfortunately, the farmer informed us that they were unable to make it today." Hoboken endured thunderstorms this morning and may get more rain later today, the National Weather Service said.
