Gen X dude (guitar/vocals/other) seeks singing drummer to rock with. Ideally with pro drumming chops, adept at singing while playing loud rock, able to play to a click, have own gear. I know a few bass players locally. Can conceivably add a guitarist if they are a stylistic fit, down for sharing lead/rhythm duties, and sing (this is an all-singing band). Had an ad up before but got replies from about 50 guitarists, three bassists, and like one drummer who lives really far away. So first, hope to establish the core nucleus of guitar/vox/drums, have it work as a duo, and go from there. This was formerly a gigging Bay Area band that had some lineup changes and dwindled to just me right as the pandemic started. I’ve been offered shows recently, had to turn them down for lack of lineup. Looking to get things moving again. We’ll do originals (https://droneyard.bandcamp.com/) and covers from the rock canon. No delusions, just a hobby, but if we get something worthwhile together, we can play the local pubs, do DIY recordings, see where it goes. Rehearse on weekends in Walnut Creek.
