I'm a 28yo looking for bandmates in the around my age range to write and perform originals. Willing to do some covers, but not looking to start a cover band. I can scream and growl, sing clean lead or backup/harmonies, play lead or rhythm guitar, write/co-write songs and lyrics, and have significant experience in production and recording, plus a place to practice and record demos. I'm not a guitar virtuoso, but I definitely don't suck either. I want to find like minded people to create with. I would say no egos, but I don't really care if you have one provided you've got chops to back it up. I don't mind some drug use, but everything has its limits. My interests span many bands and genres, but heavily rooted in classic rock, alternative rock and metal. Favorites include: Alice in Chains, Porcupine Tree, Opeth, Mastodon, Pink Floyd, Megadeth, Dream Theater, Chevelle, Incubus, RATM, Iron Maiden, Stone Temple Pilots, TOOL, Ozzy Osbourne, Black Sabbath, Jerry Cantrell, Black Light Burns, Van Halen, Led Zeppelin, Rush, Judas Priest, and on and on and on. Disclaimer, I have politics, and most of the time they're not red, purple, or even blue. By American standards, they're ultraviolet, though on the world stage, they're casually left, so if you're of the conservative persuasion, we may not get along very well. If you want to give it a shot anyway, be my guest, despite that, I'm not hard to get along with.
