Press release from Harlingen Consolidated Independent School District: Ashley Berrones June 16, 2022 Students from Harlingen High School and Harlingen High School South received gold medals for earning the highest possible rating on their solos and/or ensembles at the UIL Texas State Solo and Ensemble Contest. In addition to receiving gold medals, junior Emilia Bautista, senior Cadence Carpio, and sophomore Nathan Mowers from Harlingen High School were awarded an Outstanding Performer recognition, an award that only the top one percent of performers receive.
