Join us for a Living History Encampment on the Grounds of the Carnegie, part of Port Huron Museums. See the clothes of the early French visitors to the area, smell the campfires of the 1750sand taste the food right out of the cast iron ovens all in one spot! This reenactment of a small slice of 18th century life will take you back to a time when fur was big business in Michigan and the lakes and rivers were the fastest way to travel. After you stroll through the camp and talk with figures right out of history, step inside the air conditioned Carnegie and visit the modern exhibits all about Blue Water Area history! Cost: $5
