PITTSBURGH — On Friday, Vice President Kamala Harris will be in Pittsburgh to cheer the federal infrastructure money that will replace lead drinking water pipes across the U.S., according to a report. The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette said Secretary of Housing and Urban Development Marcia Fudge and Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Michael Regan will accompany the vice president. Details have not yet been released on a time and location for Harris' visit. The city has been working for years to replace lead pipes and reduce levels of the harmful metal. The Pittsburgh Water and Sewer Authority estimates they will replace all lead water service lines by 2026.
