LIBERTYVILLE, IL — Libertyville Days festivities will get underway Thursday and continue through the weekend, bringing with plenty of fun and entertainment to downtown Libertyville. Boasting one of Lake County's most spectacular parades, Libertyville Days also has live music, a beer garden, the Miss Libertyville pageant and a children's party. The parade, which steps off at 10 a.m. on Saturday, includes balloons, marching bands and horses. This year's musical headliners include "Sneezy," "Ivy Ford," "Fun Monkey," "Mellencougar," "GooRoos," "Six Speed Tranny" and "Soul Kitchen." Another crowd favorite at the festival, Church Street Eats, will include vendors such as Dos Amigos, Blackhawk Concession and Kona Ice that will be serving up food and drinks for those stopping out.
