FRANKFORT, IL — The wait is over: The Frankfort Park District announced Thursday that the Splash Park at Commissioners Park is now open for the season. The Splash Park is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays through Fridays, and from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays, according to information on the Frankfort Park District website. Admission for Frankfort residents is $2; it's $4 for non-residents. The Frankfort Park District is accepting credit card payments with a minimum $10 purchase. Private rentals are also available from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Mondays through Fridays, and from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays.
