Batavia student graduates from Grove City College Michelle Slone recently earned a degree from Grove CIty College on May 14, 2022. Slone earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Arts and is from Batavia. Slone was also named to the dean's list with distinction for the spring 2022 semester. Michelle is a 2018 home school graduate and is the daughter of Joseph and Patricia Slone. Newendyke, majoring in Elementary Education, was named to the Chancellor's Honor Roll, which is reserved for students who earn a semester GPA of 3.75-4.00. "The remarkable students achieving Chancellor's Honor Roll are among the best and brightest at the University of Mississippi," said Chancellor Glenn Boyce. "I commend them for their hard work and dedication resulting in their outstanding academic achievements and this well-deserved recognition." He/she earned a bachelor's degree in marine, estuarine and freshwater biology.
