TUSCALOOSA, AL — Tuscaloosa Tourism & Sports on Thursday announced that President and CEO Don Staley is set to transition to a new role as an advisor and consultant on July 1, with Kelsey Rush then assuming the role of president and CEO role. "Through Don's guidance over the years, he has inspired many and has established a strong foundation that has helped us make plans for the future of the organization." Rush will then assume the role in a permanent capacity upon Staley's official retirement. TTS then said Staley has offered to serve in an advisory capacity through the end of September, with the possibility to extend as needed.
