Hazard Companies is seeking an experienced Foreman, with at least 3+ years construction experience. The Foreman is a leader that is self-motivated, hard-working, detailed oriented, and organized. Experience in heavy highway construction, grading operations, and paving operations including Caltrans, airports, and overlays preferred. This is a safety sensitive position. Knowledge of equipment operations. The Foreman provides leadership and is responsible for, although not limited to: • Supervision of crew, including training and mentoring crew members • Installation and construction of various paving projects • Ensuring the safety of crew members • Following company policies • Productivity of crew Other Abilities required: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions through correspondence and memos. Basic computer skills Ability to prioritize tasks Knowledge of paving equipment and the paving process Must be able to meet all safety requirements and applicable safety policies Work overtime as required Ability to communicate effectively with both Superintendents and crew members Quality Control Timesheet administration We offer a generous benefits package including a comprehensive medical and dental plan, life, disability, 401K, flexible spending accounts, and voluntary supplemental life benefits.
