Hazard Companies is looking for qualified Operating Engineers. Candidates must have experience operating various heavy machinery used in grading, paving and concrete work. This can include Roller, Screed, Paving Machine, Dozer, Excavator, Skip Loader and Skid Steer. This position is a safety sensitive position. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: • Operate heavy equipment in compliance with the company's operating safety policies and procedures. • Provide recommendations for maintaining and improving environmental performance. • Ensure company equipment, material, and the work site are maintained, kept clean, and stored in a safe manner. • Complete required paperwork, reporting, and other documentation. • Must be able to meet all safety requirements and applicable safety policies. • Work overtime as required Specific for Paving Operations: • Knowledge of various paving equipment and the paving process. • Observe distribution of paving material to adjust machine settings or material flow, and indicate low spots for workers to add material. All Hazard Company positions require satisfactory completion of a physical ability test and clean drug and alcohol screening.
