Description
This sweet girl is Olivia, a German Shepard, Doberman pinscher mix, and she is around four years old. Olivia is an extremely sweet and protective girl, due to moving her owner cannot take care of her anymore. We are her foster parents living in a one-bedroom apartment that doesn't allow large dogs, or else we would have adopted her. We are looking for a forever home for her, she is currently living in the Burbank, Glendale area, and loves to go on walks, play, eat and snuggle. A small rehoming fee does apply.
Olivia was used as a security dog at a food importing warehouse for over 3 years, because of being alone she is antisocial around other animals. In front of the warehouse on both corners of the street were bus stops. The people at the bus stops always fed her so she is really food motivated and really loves people that feed her.
We have spoken to a dog trainer and are taking every last piece of advice he has given us. We take her to the dog park for an hour a day, seven days a week. We have started using a head collar so she stops pulling and lunging. We are seeing a lot of improvements but she still needs work. The dog trainer has recommended that she go to a home that has no other pets so that she can be completely herself without worrying about defending her food/water bowl/territory at all times.

Important Note:
Olivia will not be given to a person that will use her for security/live outside. She has lived outside a warehouse for 3 years and we do believe she deserves more than that.
