Free to the RIGHT home. Looking to rehome a three year old Blue Tick Heeler mix. She is smart as a whip and listens well. She is very sweet with humans, and is partially trained (plays fetch, sits, stays, potty trained, kennel trained) but has some behavioral issues that require her to live in a very specific environment. She would thrive in a home without children or other dogs. With a little training she would make an absolutely fantastic hunting dog. She has a high prey drive and loves to catch and kill rabbits and small animals. She alert barks and would also make a very good guard dog. She plays well with other dogs her size, but has been known to treat small dogs as prey. Having her in a home with small children or dogs weighing less than 40 pounds is NOT recommended. She weighs about 50 pounds and eats 2 cups of food per day. Comes with a full bag of food, a bed, and a kennel. We love her and are reluctant to give her away, but she can no longer stay with us.
