Jam-band fan (male, 31) seeking other jam-band fan neophyte musicians. Prince caspian, loving cup, deal, soulshine, brown-eyed woman, cassidy, eyes of the world, (parts of ) scarlet begonias, dirt, sugaree, althea. I’m a new-ish, decent guitarist (can play chords up and down the neck and know the major and pentatonic scales pretty well; been ripping to backing tracks through the pandemic). If that song list interests you, and you’re feeling like you’re a bad enough musician to want to play with another bad musician (dilettante?), reach out and we can jam. I like rhythm but prefer improv / soloing. Special interest in playing loose / slow Jerry Garcia Band songs. I like my Phish songs to be reverent, but not too reverent; mellow with a back-pocket, soulful groove; and Page-side. Nascent interest in surf rock.
